A treasure chest for climbers: We’ve only just had a taster of what Portland has on offer for people like us and can’t wait to go again! A three and a half hour drive from London, and a short walk down the cliff and along the seaside took us to Godnor Far North, Cheyne Weares Area with plenty of routes of various grades. Lots of awesome climbing between the four of us (Alex, Lawrence, Marga and Mona), plus: SUN!
Most memorable climb: ‘Dreamscape’! But we can’t not mention the really tricky last move on ‘Wave Warrior’.
The sea was quite rough and we got all showered a bit but hey who cares on a perfect day like that?
