Getting started – Introduction to Sandstone Climbing
You’ve had enough of indoor climbing and want go out to try the real rocks? Qualified instructors will help you to get started.
You’ll learn:
- Easy ways to make suitable and safe anchors
- How to protect the sandstone and your ropes
- The Sandstone Code of Conduct
- Pros and Cons of various Southern Sandstone sites
- Tips and tricks on how to climb sandstone
Requirements:
You must be a competent belayer (for top roping)
Bring your own climbing shoes

We are pleased to offer you private climbing tuition where we can tailor the session around your needs, with flexible time slots so you can fit it around your other commitments.
